My Story

Hi everyone. This is Aaron's Dad, Chris. Aaron has been diagnosed with brain cancer.(anaplastic ependymoma)

Kristie and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and prayers. We can not express how much it has meant to Aaron and us. We would not have made it this far if it weren't for our family, friends, and church family (all of the churches). Thank you all so much.

Good evening,

We have had a really golf filled week. Chris has been off this week so they have played every day and plan on playing again tomorrow. Let's see if I can add this all up. Monday 27 holes at Ross Creek in Clifton, Tuesday 18 holes at Tn River in Decaturville, Wednesday 18 holes at Shiloh Falls in Pickwick, Thursday morning 9 holes at Pickwick St Park and 9 more at Shiloh CC in Adamsville that afternoon, Friday 18 holes at Pickwick and they are going back with Mr. Charlie in the morning. That's 99 holes of golf in the past 5 days!

Aaron has been playing from the men's (white) tee boxes this week. This means that he is starting from the same place as Chris and Charlie. On Thursday afternoon they played the front nine at Shiloh CC in Adamsville and Aaron reached his goal of beating Mr. Charlie. He was very excited because he shot 2 strokes less than Charlie while playing from the men's tees!!

Today was Ms. Latonia's birthday. We celebrated with hamburgers and hot dogs at the Cromwell's this evening. Happy Birthday Latonia!!

I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. We feel very blessed to live in such a wonderful country. May God continue to bless our country and all of the people who have given so much to help maintain our freedoms.

Please be aware of the following, I will have more about this in the next few months:

*September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month*

****Congress has declared September 12, 2009 as
        National Childhood Cancer Awareness Day
****

****The gold ribbon represents childhood cancers****
