HAPPY 4th of JULY!
I know it has been a while since my last update. I was suppose to update on how things went in DC and will bring you all up to date now. We had a good visit in DC and I hope that we accomplished a lot. We enjoyed visiting with Terri, Heather and Rachelle and also had the privilege of meeting many new families. It is still evident that a lot more attention needs to be given to pediatric cancer and funding but I hope that we did help to bring some awareness. I have to say that all of our Mississippi representatives that we met with were on board and were great. We were given a personal tour of Congress by our Congressman. Alyson and I really enjoyed this. We also got to take Rachelle along and tried to get Terri and Heather but they were not able to meet up with us in time.
We are now in Georgia visiting with my sister and her family and then we are headed to Florida to invade the Braswell household. Poor Terri and Heather just can't get rid of us. I am happy to report that Alyson is doing great and has already completed her summer reading assignments and has actually read more books than what she has to. This is a major accomplishment from a child who just a year ago really didn't like to read. She has come so far.
I ask that you please continue to keep all of the kids at St. Jude in your prayers as they still need them. Please continue to pray for Christian NesSmith, Jonah Borngrebe and Sydney Ives as they both need miracles. Please keep Elizabeth Dunford, Dax Locke and Trevor Vampran in you prayers as they are still having some issues. Also please pray for Heather, Ellen, Eric, Katlin, Jack, James, Colby, Hillary, Zoey, Harrison, Colby S., Will H., Will A., Christian H., Salena, Bryce, Sarah, Aurda, Audri, Kami, Ellie, Thomas, Ben, Marit, Kevin and all the other kids that I know that I have missed. Also keep the doctors, nurses and all of the staff in your prayers. Keep praying and keep believing. Love Regina, Alyson & ^Mary Kate^
