"For I know the plans I have for you..." Jeremiah 29:11
We got good news again! YAY! Nothing could be seen on the ultrasound again. Joshua was a little pill today. I can definitely tell that he has gotten older since this mess all started. He screamed during the entire U/S and I don't mean just scream...he screamed and kicked to where I had to hold his legs and Scott had to hold his arms! He did not want any part of that. I will say that he was tired and hungry at that point though! I did ask today when they would say he is "cancer free". Though the tumor is undetectable on ultrasound, they can still see it on CT so it is still there (or at least it was last CT). Basically though, he said if something were gonna come up or spread, it would more than likely be in the first 2 years----we are coming up on 1 year in August. And he said that really they won't say it until after 5 years. UGH! He is encouraged though that so far in this first year that it has not spread any more than it did. I still just am amazed and so thankful that Joshua has done so good. He is the only person I know who has cancer that has not needed treatment. That being said, please continue to pray for his cancer to continue to go away and never return! Please remember all the children who are battling this disease. Two of the children I follow on caringbridge lost their battles last week...please say a special prayer for their families.
Thank you for reading and especially for praying for my sweet Joshua! Have a blessed week!
