Hello Everyone, It’s been almost a month since Chris passed away. I want to post my last entry here on Caringbridge and take the opportunity to again express my gratitude to all of you who never ceased on praying for my family during Chris’ battle with cancer and after he went home to our Lord. God prepared us for this time. Marcus and Isabelle are giving me the joy I need when I am missing Chris. Marcus especially has a way of just telling me the simplest way to ease my lonely moments. “Mama, we will see daddy again in heaven, and when we see him he will have a new body, he is doesn’t have cancer anymore.” he told me on Thursday night. On Friday, I finally received his remains from Korsmo. I had his best friend from Bemidji make the urn, it was made out of cherry wood shaped like a Lego block. I am planning to keep it at my house for now. I want to share how God has proven again that He will take care of us. A week and half ago, I received a letter from Siemens Corp. stating that our COBRA medical coverage will be free of charge for 24 months. It means that my children and I will keep the same health coverage without having to pay premium. The company will also give us 3 months worth of survivor’s benefits in relation to his long term disability benefit. Praise God! Finally, I hope that Chris’ entries here on Caringbridge has blessed and encouraged you in anyway. We miss him so much, and every day God provides me with a specific memory of Chris which helps me get thru my day. God bless all of you and Thank you. Joanne Satterlee
