Sorry I have not written lately, things have been a little busy around here. But Rachael has finally finished chemo and is doing really well. The doctors have started taking here off her medication and so far no GVHD. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!

In April the week after Easter, we went on a Make A Wish to DISNEYWORLD. What a wonderful time that was had by all. I hope that I can download a picture of Rachael when her Fairy Godmothers dressed her up like Princess Belle. We all cried. We got to go to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios. All I can say is WOW. We stayed at the Pop Century Resort and it was wonderful, the staff was great and they did things to the kids stuffed animals and toys that they got from the parks. The food and everyone thing was outstanding. It was a wonderful trip and can’t wait to go back some day. We have so much to see, because the parks are so big.

On August 12 we met a wonderful couple from Nebraska. Rachael’s bone marrow transplant donor came in to meet the family. We met for breakfast on Sunday and then went to church. We all connected like family from the start. Sunday afternoon we went to my parents house for a party so that the family could met Shelly and her husband Chad. I tell you that they are so down to earth and easy to talk to. I enjoyed every minute of it and did not want the days to end. I was glad to be able to show them some of our area and then to take them to Virginia Beach. The water temp was 80 and everyone was able to get in and swim. It was a perfect couple of days and thank you to God for making the weather wonderful. Like I said, everything was WONDERFUL. It was a very emotional meeting, but I am very thankful for such a wonderful, caring person like Shelly, Because without her donation Rachael would not be here today,. I know that with all my heart and Thank you does not seem enough to say to Shelly. But welcome to the family and we love you.

The kids start school tomorrow and I am excited for Rachael and James, but also sad. Ray Ray will be in Kindergarten and James in 1st. They are growing so quickly. Ashley is back in college, this is her second year. She finally has her Biology classes and is very happy about that.

Bobby and I are doing pretty good, still taking a day at a time. If I could keep me knees from hurting so bad I would be okey. I am going to hold off of having my knee replacement as long as possible. I know it will hurt real bad.

Love to all
Cheryl, Rachael and family
