What a bummer that the summer is over! It was a great one, though. Grant had some fun field trips and spent a week with Camp Chesterfield at Pocahontas State Park. We heard lots of stories about snakes & frogs.

We had a great week in Litchfield Beach with my family and the Bowlings. The rooftop deck had the best view of the ocean. My dad couldn't get enough of it!

Second grade is off to a pretty good start. We are proud of how well he is doing with his reading! He has had to shift seats after one week - and we are trying to emphasize how much he needs to focus on his work...and listen to Mrs. Thompson.

Grant had his scans on August 18th and got a clear report! He will have an ECHO on September 19th, and a visit to the Radiation Oncologist in November. All part of the normal follow-up protocol.

His next scans will be August 2009!

Rob & I are trying to focus on getting the yard in shape, including agreeing on priorities (flowers versus a driveway, concrete or something else??).
