Journal Saturday, May 29, 2004 Emily took a nosedive in breathing last night and is now back in the PICU. She was on an oscillator for a little while, but now she's off of that and on the ventilator. She's doing better there. They have a tube in her belly to drain off the fluid that migrated from her vessels to her tissues. Her liver is still enlarged, as I'm sure other organs are, as well. Her lungs were saturated, but I think they are getting that under control, now. Please just keep praying she continues to improve. These may just be baby steps right now, but just as she takes a nosedive when she gets sick, she pulls herself right back out of it just as quickly! Hospital Information:
