Ty's our "Super Cooper Trooper"
with a strong will to survive
He keeps battling away at cancer
like the John Deer tractor he rides

With support from his loving family
mom and dad and big brother Ross
Ty is kicking the butt of cancer
and showing that he's the boss

When days are dark and gloomy
Ty looks for the sunshine within
He knows clouds have a silver lining
with this attitude he's sure to win

Words of support and encouragement
Ty loves to be read all of these
From the visitors to his website
so please sign the book as you leave

After you have met this small boy
we know you'll feel just like us
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes
and Ty is the toughest of the tough

Ty's Poem

By: Margaret Temple
Three years old and a cute little boy,
Ty is his name and filled full of joy.
Tussled brown hair, he opens his eyes,
Looking to see if we've brought a surprise.

Did you bring me a John Deere book?
Maybe a tractor or is it a truck?
And I like Bob The Builder you know
Veggie Tales and all the cartoon shows.

So many friends, come to see me,
Doctors and Nurses and my family.
I'm a lucky little boy in so many ways,
To have so much love every day.

One day I'll be able to walk and to run,
Go outside and play in the warm sun.
Having a good time just being a boy,
My brother and me and my John Deere toy.

Thank You, Margaret for a beautiful poem!

Journal

Tuesday, May 16, 2006 10:58 AM CDT

We had our spinal tap last week and had a few complications after it this time. He started running a high temp on Friday with headaches, backpain and leg cramps. The doctor said that this is a chemical menengitis. But, is nothing to worry about. This is caused by the chemo being injected into the spine and causing some inflamation to the spine. They gave him some medicine to help with the pain and said it would take some time for this to settle back down. He has now bounced back once again! He is a true trooper! We go back in two weeks and we will keep you posted.

We are walking in the Relay for Life on Friday, May 19th. We would like to invite everyone that can to come by the city park. It starts at 6:00 on Friday night and goes until 6:00 Sat. morning. They will be releasing survivor balloons this year. It should be a really neat event. Come on down and join us if you can!

Thanks to everyone for their prayers!

Love to all!
Ty and family
