On January 29, 2003 Noah was diagnosed with Leukemia. His journey to his cure will be lengthy but, with God as our guide, and family and friends at our side we will travel this road with faith and courage.

My Beautiful Son
I watch you playing, Without a care. It's hard to believe The cancer is there.
You look so bright, So happy and well. If someone new met you They couldn't tell.
Your strength is amazing, Your courage so strong. You've fought this disease So well for so long.
It's from your strength, that I draw mine. I know you will come through this, It'll just take time. Carry on smiling, I will too. Through the hard times I'll carry you.
You are my world, The air that I breathe, I know in my heart You'll never leave.
Keep strong my love, The battle has begun, But with your strength, It will be won

Wednesday, February 6, 2008 9:36 PM CST Well, as I type this tonight Noah is doing well. He is enjoying first grade and all of his friends. He loves his teacher and his school. Noah has taken on a few new hobbies....no thanks to his brothers...Noah finds paint balling to be a wonderful sport and even though he broke his arm last summer on 4-wheeler hs still loves riding and has graduated to a bigger 4-wheeler. Of course he knows the rules of helmets at all times. Noah still loves all of the other sports there is to play and I might add he does quite well at most.
We are still hopeful for the Country Music Marathon but may have to wait until the Nike Marathon. The doctor has not yet released me, after 6 ankle/foot surgeries (since mid November I might add) I'm hoping that he will soon decide I have followed my orders and can get back to normal life. I have to complete one of the two marathons for Noah's sake and for the sake of all of the other kids who battle cancer.
Noah has endured all of his allergy test and walked away with a long list of allergies, new medications to add to his already long list and a grand prize of an epi-pen for all of us to keep on hand at all times for his sake. We were also fortunate to find out what is causing some of his hearing loss, he once again has a perforated ear drum on one side. Hopefully surgery will repair that ear and maybe we will see an improvement in his hearing and his speech.
I continue to trudge forward working towards my Master's Degree. I love all that I am learning and look forward to each new class I take as the opportunity to learn more is amazing.
I will update again soon and I will attempt to remember to post newer photos. I will add that Noah is growing by leaps and bounds, he is 4'11" weighing in at almost 80 pounds. I think his plans are to be quarterback for The University of Texas oneday....GO LONGHORNS!!!
Please pray for the Enmon family. Victoria Enmon and Noah participated at Relay for Life and we got to know her and her mom through our visits to Texas Childrens. Victoria is in heaven with my sweet niece Lexy and by the Grace of God they are both pain free. I must add, the Enmon family are truly amazing. They are what all families should desire to be, they share such a bond it is amazing.
Take care, God Bless you all.
Love in Christ,
Angie
