I'm so grateful to the Lord for His unending mercies. I like making updates only every six months! Lots has happened this year. In August, right before Kisa and Kendall traveled to Maryland for a convention, he was in a car accident and my Dodge caravan was totaled. He was broadsided by a Suburban, but once again, the Lord was watching over him and he walked away from it.

Kendall was cast as Aslan in a local production of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It pretty much consumed his life for a few months. He was diligent about doing his treatments and vest for therapy in order to keep his lungs strong since he had to roar twice during the play. It was mid-November and he did an AMAZING job. We are VERY proud of him. He performed 3 times on Friday, then again on Saturday morning and that pretty much wiped him out for a while. We had to travel to Arkansas right after that and Kendall did end up getting sick. But he had some precious time with my mom, who was diagnosed with metastasized ovarian cancer early in November. Grandma and Grandpa were supposed to come for the performance, but Mom's health precluded that.
