Janvi was diagnosed at age 2 1/2 with Leukemia -ALL on Fri, 13th July 2001.She went through her complete treatment and stayed in remission. But on her last day of treatment ( 13th Jan,2004)she was diagnosed with Mylodyslpatic Syndrome with Monosomy 7.
The only cure left was a transplant. Janvi arrived at Duke on Sun, 20th June 2004 and got a unrelated cord blood transplant on July 7th, 2004.
