Brendon Kade Farmer

Welcome to Brendon's website. It was created to keep you updated while Brendon undergoes treatment for his Leukemia. He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (blood cancer) on July 1, 2004 and is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center to fight this terrible disease. He is responding well and continues to keep a positive attitude daily. Please continue to keep him in your prayers.

Blood and platelets are always needed for Brendon and hundreds of kids like him! Please feel free to go to any blood bank and donate in his name. You need his full name and DOB (05/14/01). Your help is appreciated!

Brendon's caringbridge journal is no longer being updated. You can see the entire story of his cancer journey by visiting the 'journal history' link at the bottom of the page. Today he is a happy, active, and healthy 8-year-old boy and keeping up with him and his younger brother make it difficult to keep up with this website (and we have nothing medical to write about! AMEN!). However, you can still read about the happenings with our family at:

We appreciate all the love and support we have been given over the years through this website and never take Brendon's miracle of healing for granted. We hope that this journal can be of some help for other families dealing with similar situations.
