An incredible young lady..with a long journey!

Hello and thank you for coming to my webpage. Hi I'm Pamela Hensley I was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in March of 2004. The road of this journey has been very bumpy but me and my family have managed to hang in there.
In January of 2005 I had my big surgery where they took my primary tumor out and replaced my hip and femur bones with metal. Everyone thought that the doctors would have to ampitate my leg,but so far the surgery has been working successfully and thanx to jesus that did not happen. For about a month or so after the surgery I went through physical therapy to gain my strength back. The doctors say that I will always walk with a limp, but at least I still have my leg.
Now I am experimenting with different types of chemotherapy and am praying that one of them will help me to a curing level. When a child has to go through something like this all you really have is hope and prayer. God has been very helpful to me and my family and we are very greatful for his wonderful blessings.
I appreciate all of the wonderful things people have been writing, and all of the prayers people are praying, and to all of my St. Jude friends God Bless and I thank everyone else!!

Please before you leave, feel free to sign and update the guestbook,so we can all keep in touch!!

Love you guys!! And God Bless you all!!!

Jaci (cambles mom) for Pamelas family

Hello to all, I talked with Cindy last night at length about Pamela. Things are not real good at this point. Pamela's right lung is collapsed and the left lung is working at 4apacity. Pamela did comment yesterday that she is waiting for her miracle and she still believes that god is in control and she is not afraid of earning her Golden wings.
Years ago when I was a St Jude mom (24 years to be exact) a lady gave me a poem that has forever stayed in my heart and I would like to share it with all of you for Pamela.

TO ALL PARENTS

"I'll lend you for a time a child of mine,"He said.
"For you to love the while she lives and mourn for
when she's dead.

It may be 6 or 7 years, or twenty two or three.
But will you, Till I call her back take care of her for me?

She will bring her charms to gladden you, and shall her stay be breif, You will have her lovely memeories as solace for your greif.

I can not promise she will stay since all from earth return.
Bur there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I have looked the whole world over in shearch for teachers true, and from the throng that crowds lifes lanes, I have selected you.

Now will you give her all your love, Nor think the labor vain, Nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again?

I fancied that I heard you say: DEAR LORD THY WILL BE DONE: for all the joy this child shall bring the risk of greif will run.

We'll shelter her with tenderness, We'll LOVE her while we may, and for the happiness we've know forever greatful stay.

But should the angels call for her much sooner then we have planned, we'll brave the bitter greif that comes and try to understand."

This teaches all of us that we are here on earth to be loved and that the almighty Lord has great plans when he comes to take us home again. We are a gift to our parents and families but we really belong to the Lord.

Please remember to lift this entire family up in your heavenly prayers, and to help ease the burden on them. Non of us know what the future holds for us but rest assured we are loved by him.
Pamela is currently at St Jude on the second floor. Please let the family know you ar thinking of them.
Camie Heiser former Mom to a St Jude patient and current Nana of a St Jude pt. caringbridge.org/il/camble.
Love and Peace to you all during this holiday Season.
