Welcome to Lawson's Web Page. It has been provided to keep family and friends updated on Lawson's progress and our "quest" to find a diagnosis. Lawson has Severe Reflux, Reactive Airway Disease, Heart Murmur (Still's Murmur), Sensory Integration Disorder, Feeding Aversion, Recurrent Hypoglycemia, and had the Nissen Fundoplication done on Jan 10, 2005. He had a feeding tube (Mic-key Button) placed on January 17, 2005 and gets most of his nutrition through that at night. He is also being treated for a possible metabolic disorder/inborn error of metabolism. Feel free to look around and don't forget to sign Lawson's guestbook!

Time for another update! Lawson has been having chest pains for the past 3 weeks. They come on very sudden and only last about a minute. I took him to the pediatrician today and he sent us to Vandy for a Chest xray and an EKG. There are many heart conditions on both sides of our family so I think he wants to rule that out. We are hoping to get results back tomorrow. If they both come back normal, we have to decide if we want to do more cardiac testing or move on to the GI route. There is a possibility that this could be related to his Nissen surgery he had done 3 years ago for his reflux. So we may have to do more testing on that. We had to reschedule his GI and ENT appointments that were in April because we had to go out of town. We will be going in June for those appointments. I will try to update once we get results back and decide where to go from here. Lawson will be turning 6 on May 30th! I cannot believe my baby is almost 6. It just doesn't seem possible!
Your gift will help millions of people stay connected with friends and loved ones during challenging times.
