Tuesday, May 15, 2007 2:10 PM CDT The material body cannot keep company forever with the spirit. After fulfilling its purpose for some time as the instrument of the soul for its work in the world, the body begins to refuse, through weakness and old age, to go along with the spirit any further. This is because the body cannot keep pace with the eternally growing soul.
-Sadhu Sindar Singh-Christian writer from India
I cannot take credit for finding this beautiful sentiment, (our Pastor had it in our program this past Sunday).
Katie was an old soul. Her body just gave out.
This will be my final entry. The family is doing well. We fish on Saturdays and go to church on Sundays. Matt's back at work and in full swing. Matthew and Savannah are adjusting. They each have something of Katie's to look after and take care of for her. We all talk of Katie daily. Something will remind one of us about her and we'll say, "Katie would have liked that", or, "Katie used to do that". Sometimes there are tears, but not as often as you probably suppose. We all firmly believe that Jesus has Katie in His arms and she is healed.
Our family is doing remarkably well because of the Lord. He enables us. He strengthens us. He loves us. And it is to Him that I give all the glory.
Thank you all very much for all the prayers. We are blessed to have such good friends.
All of the Williams family.
