Caleb Foote My miraculous child is a survivor. Four years ago, on October 3, 2002 my little man had received the gift of life. Caleb had a heart transplant, thank you to the family who donated their precious innocent childs heart so Caleb could have a chance at living a healthy normal life. Which he has done very well now! Not 1 little inch of rejection. Caleb you are my strength.

Wednesday, October 3, 2007 8:11 AM CDT Is there anybody out there???? Anyways, incase people are still checking on Caleb, I wanted to update. Caleb just had his FIVE YEAR biopsy and everyhing was wonderful! No rejection. Caleb has developed a slight problem called tricuspid regurgitation. The doctor doesn't seem too concerned. Although I have had many doctors in the past tell me they are not too concerned and Caleb then needed a heart transplant. I am trying to relax and trust the doctor. Besides I feel I am more informed and educated today regarding Calebs health and signs and symptoms, I know when to stomp my feet and advocate for my kiddo. Caleb is in second grade now and doing wonderful at school. He is making new friends at his new school (we just moved to northern Michigan). Caleb plays soccer, does very well considering he deals with exercise induced asthma. Caleb also plays baseball which he just loves. It's a little easier on him then soccer! Medications, well he is on two immunosuppressants, one blood pressure med, and an inhaler for exercise. Not too bad I would say. He is doing wonderful!
