Rodney Lane Hammerstrom Welcome to Rodney's web page. Journal Tuesday, October 14, 2008 11:10 PM CDT What a wonderful day October 15, 2008, will be. I will be celebrating my 5th year Anniversary since my accident. I would like to thank everyone who has had me in their prayers because if it wasn't for the Lord hearing your prayers, I would not be to where I am today. Today was my one day a week therapy session. I am having Physical therapy and speech therapy. Today I did a jumping jack for the first time since my accident. On the first one, I lost my balance but after another try, I got it done! Today, my therapist has listed another whole set of goals for me to work on. I am working on walking alittle faster. I always walked slow before, I don't know why they want to speed up my walking now (haha. I actually wrote my name the other day so that someone could read it. My tremors don't cooperate very well so it is very tedious to try to write yet, but my tremors are slowing, priase the Lord, & I pray that someday that healing will correct/eliminate them from my body. To all my family and friends---I thank you for your prayers and celebrate with me on my 5 year anniversary. Because of God's love for me, I am here to celebrate this day.  Look at past journal
