Melissa, I didn't want to call you again since I know you and Cody are resting but I was not able to get into my author page tonight to do the update. I've sent customer service a help call. I've never had any trouble before. Just wanted you to know why the update wasn't here.

For those of you who read the guestbook, this is what Wed. February 5th update will be saying:

"6:15 AM Mom and I had to be to the hospital for my surgery. They put a shunt in my tear duct so it will stay open when doing radiation. The surgery went well but I didn't do well after the surgery, I started throwing up. But my day wasn't over yet, I had my first radiation treatment in the afternoon. I have a CT Scan each time before the radiation treatment, too. Today has not been a good day, I'm pretty listless and started running a fever so instead of going to the Ronald McDonal House they put me into the the hospital and on IV. Right now I'm resting on Mommy and I don't feel much like talking."

Hi Missy and Cody, Finally got some info from your Mom to know how Cody is and to contact you. We remember little Cody and you all almost every day in prayer. This is a whole new life style to get used to. The report of the tumor shrinking is good news! 43 weeks is a loong time, but with God by your side, He can lighten the burden and fill the days/weeks with love from others to help the time seem to pass more quickly. Count on our love.
We are getting ready to go to Missouri for Thanksgiving, but Kindra can't go with, as she just started a full-time job at Menard's and has to work Wed and Fri. She will go to Valley City to Grandma's for Thurs. Jeneen is expecting their 2nd child (they think the u.s. showed a girl, and are excited at that prospect). Due Apr 7. They also have a home of thier own now in Warrensburg, 15 miles from the Base. Now Travis commutes to work. It's a cute split entry house. Chase is 2 3/4 yr old now, and such a smart little guy! Wish they lived closer, so we could bring him home at times. Even 4 hrs away would be better than 11! We never see Ken's little Jade who is 3 3/4 yr old. We think he is in Ore. and she is with her Mommy at Climax, MN, but she never contacts us. Jason is heading to Korea for a year on Dec 2. His wife is out in Calif. while he is gone. Their marriage needs prayer!!, and the Lord in it!!
That's enough about us. We will keep posted now on Cody and keep praying the tumor keeps receading and the upcoming surgery gets ALL of it. Love you all,

Our little granddaughter was diagnosed with a form of cancer when she was 6 1/2 months old. She has undergone brain surgery, chemo, stem cell harvest and transplant and many, many hospitalizations. She will be 6 years old in Dec. God does perform miracles, and she is one those miracles. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Well I really don't know what to say but that I wish I was home to help and be with all of you. The first and last time I saw Cody he was only 5 months old. I can't even imagine the changes that I have missed. It's hard not to be home when things like this happen, the times when you want to be there for you family and can't. And now that I have my own family and my own baby it only makes it harder to understand why illness happens to little ones who are so inocent to the world. Well I am with you in my own little way.
