YA! YA!! Laurel sure is growing up to be one beautiful young lady! May the Lord continue to bless her and all of you! Just wanted to share some words of encouragement for when life throws you a curve ball… “If we could, by some wonderful force from heaven, be allowed to slip from this earth in our present state and into the glory of heaven, we would not find one shred of evidence that reveals panic. You would never once hear “oops” from the lips of God, or “I wonder what we’re going to do about that down there?” Nor would we ever observe anxiety across the face of the living God. We would be stunned with amazement at how calm things are around his throne. From this side of glory we see the tapestry of life from underneath. It is full of knots and twisted threads and frayed ends that lack meaning and beauty. But from God’s perspective, looking at the top of the fabric, it is all under control.” From Encouragement for life by Charles Swindoll… May you see that glory of God in your life today…. I got your link from my son's (Aidan King)site. I also wanted to say not to worry about your "selective mutisim;" I have been through that myself. Now I am 28 and an annoying loud-mouth!:) I remember getting in trouble during show and tell for not "telling" about my stuffed parrot; I was so confused because it took me everything that I had to stand up in from of the class, let alone talk! My mom used to have to come to school mid day and get me off of the pole at recess; I would climb to the top and refuse to come down until mom came to get me down:) At some point in 4th grade, I slowly came out of my inablitly to talk to someone other than my mom, dad, and sisters! And I think I turned out OK:) Keep being strong and beautiful! Sorry I’ve been missing for awhile…moving is the pits. But I love my new home and feel blessed to be here! Prayers continue… “Every day we are blessed with opportunities to unwrap God’s grace in our scary moments. Every day we witness miracles that we know no human could perform – miracles like being able to breath, walk, talk, move, see, think, taste and touch. Evidence of God’s presence and power is all around us in the universe – the sun, the stars, the birth of each new day. When stormy weather rolls in around you, cry out to Jesus. No climatic change in your life is stressing or surprising to him. Listen to his still small voice as he whispers to you. ‘Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?’ When the gale is raging, you can be assured that he is standing by, speaking peace to your soul. Even the wind and the waves obey his will.” By Thelma Wells Wishing you God’s loving embrace… Angel Hugz! Char www.ProjectAngelHugs.com Be An Angel…Touch a Heart! Don't you think that by September you'll be big enough to let the dentist help your teeth stay well and pretty without fighting? I'll bet you will. I think you have the same kind of pine forests as we do in Alabama, so I assume that pollen has turned your car and house greenish yellow. Tell your Mommy thanks for listing Mamie's link. We are counting on only good reports from now on. Seems a celebration is in order. Praying this month brings that great post, NED then moving out to fewer check ups till you forget what they are. Debbie Grace's MomMom - Tuesday, March 6, 2007 5:52 AM CST Kathy- Oh I know it seems to never end. I have been keeping you in my prayers like you wouldn't believe! When Ellie was diagnosed with Wilms we had to call up Ford and tell them to pick up there car, we can not longer pay for it. I know the stress that put me through. The creditors just found us after two years this past week. I know the stress I went under with a car, oh it was not a house though. I am putting Lauels photo up on our refigerator as a constant reminder to people to pray for your family. Yes I think we can both agree that we feel more then blessed to be able to hold our babies in our arms, however it doen't mean that these times can't easly pull us down. I say this because I know I feel awful at times with the way things are because of Ellies Cancer however I feel like I have no room to complain. You do, and know that you have thousands of people cheering on your family. We are praying for you that all works out the way it is suppose to! We will be holding Laurel in our prayers as she goes in for scans. -Chloe Moore www.caringbridge.com/mt/elllieann Chloe Moore <teamellieanna@hotmail.com> Bigfork, MT - Tuesday, March 6, 2007 2:31 AM CST WAKEYs WAKEYs Thats my huggers picture under this ones to. I feel so guilty reading sites as she loves to leave the messages. I have to think it is a "God thing". I do know where you are coming from! We had to sell our homes last year to pay for medical and move in with friends. Then we managed to get on our fet and buy a very small house and was a "power of sale" it was dirt cheap. Cheaper then a car! Then as we were moving in part of it burnt! I thought what next. Things just kept coming. It never ended. Just this month the company dad worked for burnt to the ground. So now he is not working. Daughters medical a month is no longer covered at all. It does not seem to end. On top of it. I found out I have cancer. And head to the operating room in the morning. As my daughter is at one spa and I am at another. I ask the same does it end? I am on board with that and people just "dont get it". Please know I am here for you. Some ones proud mom - Sunday, February 25, 2007 9:39 PM CST YAY Mom good to hear about Laurel again. Been checking, now we just need to get that home computer well!!!! Hope Laurel feels better, and her waist is not hurting. It is just so stressful when these children are so young they really can't communicate just how they feel. We have to stay watchful and try to stay sane not jumping to conclusions, ugh it is not an easy job. How are things down in SC? It is cold up here in Jersey. (Samantha Cromwell is a popular gal. A few others saw we signed her guestbook and then dropped Jackson a note). It looks like you do a great job of keeping the Wilm’s community updated and praying for one another. Kudos to you! Glad to hear there is another Rhabdoid Tumor of the Kidney (RTK) survivor out there. If you are still in contact with Dane’s grandma, tell them to check out www.rhabdoidkids.com. This is a great site that connects the Rhabdoid community. (Do to the rarity of the RTK there are only a handful of RTK kids listed. The majority of the kids have Rhabdoid brain tumors). It has been a huge resource for us. Glad to hear Laurel is doing well. Her next scans are one day after Jackson’s. We will keep her in our prayers.
