For many years Amy was diagnosed with Lennox Gastaut syndrome - in 2013 we went up to the Children's Genetic research center and Amy was diagnosed with progressive myoclonic epilepsy, within two months we'd have the genetic finding. Amy had a variant form of Batten CLN8 that Doctors thought was her diagnosis - autopsy found Spinocerebellar Ataxia type 1 or 2
