~ a retired English teacher from the fabulous Perham/Dent, MN, school district, pianist, yoga and hiking enthusiast, mom to 2 lovely, accomplished daughters, married to husband número uno, and owner of 2 cherished dogs -- Allie & Katie :) ~ I was diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) in August of 2009. I am in a major molecular response because of a daily targeted chemo in pill form (Gleevec). ~ Every day I think of others who struggle with cancer. It certainly changes one's life.
