Ps 46:10-11 First, and foremost my relationship with Jesus is my highest priority. After that Family is most important. I received Jesus as my personal savior over 20 years ago, May 1988, and He has definitely carried me a few times, ok,... many times. I am 5'10'' and weight 195lb. I grew up in the Ozarks, Southern Missouri, yeah a cultured redneck. I enjoy being silly at times but can be serious, if I have to. I like making friends wherever I go. I am retired from the US Arm, after 20 years and am being blessed to be a caregiver for my best friend, Evan Mettie. He and I met in September 2009. It didn't take long for our friendship to grow. You see, he was badly injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) in Iraq back in 2006. Among all the injuries, he also received a Serious Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). After serving 20 years and retiring, I now have the privilege and honor to care for my best friend. We are brothers in arms! As a leader my motto has been that of Paul in saying, " Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ." 1 Corinthians 11:1 Whew, what a responsibility!
