Thank you every one for the well wishes after the re-air of Hopkins 24-7. When ABC called to tell me they were airing the show it was alot of mixed emotions. I was excited because I got to hear her voice again which I have missed sooooo much. Then while watching I realized my Mom was also in the show. My Mom had died in March of the same year of lung cancer. So that was heartwrenching to realize exactly every thing I had lost in 2001 and how far I had really come because at times it still feels like I am stuck in a place I can not get out of.

It really was a night filled with mix emotions and I bawled my eyes out one minute, smiling the next, then angry because I still need approval when going to a specialist. My work had just recently switched insurance after all these years. Health America had just almost eliminate having to get approval when going to a specialist. Now I have Blue Cross and am back to having to get a referral for everything. I said OMG here we go again. Then I was angry thinking about all the hassle I had to go through to get my daughter's nurse practioner to get any test done and I get furious and wonder if she would be here now if they would have listened to me the first month I biotched instead of telling me I was just paranoid because I had, had cancer. I believe when it aired the first time I was still raw and in shock and did not comprehend the whole episode. Then to watch the rest of the episodes to realize most of the individual's on the show have passed and even one of the doctor's. I had called ABC after watching to to see if Dr. Columbani was still at Hopkins. That man was the greatest Ped's surgeon I had ever met. Between him and Tiffanie's Ped's Oncologist Melody Comito at Hershey Medical Center I cherish the ground they walk on. Numerous times they had fought to get Tiffanie whatever she needed.

The last 10 years have been a roller coaster of emotion the pain did ease but the heartache will never go away. I do a lot of fundraisers for ovarian cancer, childhood cancer spend a lot of my time with Tiffanie's friends, my family and especially my nephew and little cousin Sophie which does a lot to help me on those rough days. Not to mention working 3 jobs I am still at the state as a Superviser, still bartending and just started selling Silpada jewelry in September and I loveeee it so I am keeping busy. God does things for a reason and his reason for taking my only child was to help others. I feel my daughter and Mom around me daily and not a day goes by that one or the other does not show me a sign of some sort.. Again thank you and if you had e-mailed me at my Comcast e-mail I will get back to you shortly but as you can read or see I am really long winded. If you would like to talk I can also be found on Facebook. Love and Silver hugs Tiffanie Salvadia Mom Forever...
