Wednesday, December 31, 2003 2:09 PM CST Hey All....
The Holidays have been hard on all....The Boys have been working to keep their minds together....Kathy and I went to the movies....We all decided,no tree,Just keep a candle burning for him to see us.....
I will end this page after the new year.....or maybe not.. I have to think about it,Its very hard.....I still write about him although I have'nt been on his sight in awhile......
I talk to him everyday....I spend some time on the Island of Sanibel everyday for my break. My job takes me there...One day While parked on the causeway in a bad storm I felt him with me...Hey Mike..We have'nt had a storm like this in a while...
He answered me........
I felt my son the other day, Fast winds had blown and come my way, The force to trees in directional flow, But one stood ground for me to know...
Its sight in view there strong to all, To defy the search of this storms call, Against the odds pushed on its reach, One tree alone on a shell filled beach...
All others gathered except for this one, Only shivering there bundled for a calmness to come, Raging waves crashed on the Islands length, And rolled slowly back on their decent...
Theft water gone had reminded to me, Stolen impressions in sand for what had to be, And noticed it stopped as it came and it went, The short time he was here and what it had meant...
I'd seen my Son the other day, In fury and thunder his choice was to play, With painless motion he was placed there for me, For brief time I needed that he gave me to see........
I will always keep you close......Dad
Peace to you all...........
