Our ^Angel^
Emily Ann Dobrowski
7/18/91 - 6/27/01

If tears could build a staircase
and memories a lane,
we'd walk all the way to heaven
and bring you home again.

Welcome to Emily Ann's Web Page.
This page has been setup to keep all of our wonderful Friends and Family updated about EmiAnn's 10 month fight with AML M2 Leukemia.
She is now at peace, beginning a new life as an ^Angel^ in heaven.

We believe that friends are quiet angels who lift us to our feet when our wings have trouble remembering how to fly.

We are put on this earth not to see through each other,
but to see each other through.

6 years
6 years since you left your beaten and battered body behind to move on to another place.
A place where you can continue being, a place where you are without the physical constraints that consumed your body but not your essence, the essence that made you, Emily Ann Dobrowski, the best daughter, big sister, little sister, friend, confidant, playmate, helper, ……….
Time has crawled and also thankfully flown on your angel wings.
Where do I begin…..missing you, where will it end….missing you.
Miss Em you still consume my thoughts, your giggly smile engrained in my brain.
We as a family have changed, harder with people who just don’t get it, kinder to people in need, distant to each other sometimes, closer then ever others. We are still trying to sort out the lessons you tried to teach us.
Where would you be now?
Tinkering in the garage with Daddy? Puttering around the house with Mom? Having fun the Katie and Dana? Talking to boys on the phone? Gymnastics? Worrying about clothes and makeup? Packing your stuff for an outing? Calling for a family hug? Cuddling for a movie?
All things I would give everything to be taking part in and experiencing with you.
Keep painting those Rainbows so I know you are there, watching over us.
I know you are there, I can feel you, smell you, see you, but I can’t touch you, hug you…selfish me.

^HUGS^
Daddy

Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams?
Settle down with a family,
I wonder what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue,
I feel like I can talk to you,
An' I know it might sound crazy.

>But I know that you are still near me<

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who you'd be today?

>Helping Daddy with projects<
>Jokin around with Mommy<
>Playing with your sisters<

Today, today, today.
Today, today, today.

>Today and every day I think of you<
>Tomorrow I will awake to another day without you<
>Paint me another rainbow so I know you are watching<

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
The only thing that gives me hope,
Is I know I'll see you again some day.

>On that day I will be complete again<

Some day, some day, some day.
