Welcome to Brooke's Web Page. Brooke was dx with stage 4 hepatoblastoma on 2-26-98 when she was 13 mos. old. She went thru 21 months of chemotherapy and numerous surgeries.She has been in remission since Nov. 1999. Journal Thursday, March 19, 2009 7:45 PM CDT Since Brooke just had her annual appointment with her oncologist I wanted to update her page. Everything was wonderful, all of her bloodwork came back good and her AFP was 3.8 which is normal!! We thank God for another year of good reports from her doctor!! I can't believe it has been eleven years since she was diagnosed! Eleven years is such a long time for a child who was only given a 25hance of surviving!!!! What a miracle, thank God!!! I have added new pictures so everyone can see how big she is getting and her brothers too. Thank you for checking in on us. Links: |
