Welcome to Sarina's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about Sarina and her sisters.
Here is a very brief history of our beautiful Sarina. Sarina and her twin sister Elizabeth entered this world on November 8, 1996 11 weeks early. Sarina weight 2 pounds 6 ounces. They spent the first seven weeks in the NIC.
Sarina had some normal preemie issues. At the age of four we found a lump on her neck. After the DR saw it we were sent to the oncologist. Almost 2 years later on August 18, 2002 after many tests, biopsies and worrying we were told Sarina had stage 4B Hodgkin's Lymphoma. We started chemo immediately.
On March 26, 2003 Sarina finished her last round of chemo and was in remission. Now we are dealing with medial issues due to her early birth and the chemo. She has CP, Spina Bifidai Occulta, Scoliosis, ASD (heart defect), Raynaud's, Diabetes, stomach and lung problems. She has feeding issues and is now diagnosed with Failure To Thrive and realizes on a G-tube.

Journal
Monday, February 25, 2013 Sarina is having major pain issues. The MRI of the knee shows major arthritis. We put her on new medication. She is also having joint issues in her fingers. It is now hard to hold things and write. We are going to try and see if insurance will get her an IPAD for school work.
