Tuesday, March 18, 2008 7:50 AM CDT Hello everyone, Once again it has been a while since I last updated Ryan's site, and in some ways, that's a good thing, not much happening. Ryan just celebrated his 12th birthday, could pass me in height some time this year. He had an ecocardiogram done last month to rule out any ill effects from adriamycin (one of the chemo drugs he took back in 2002). He looks and feels great. He doesn't have to go back to his oncologist until later this year. His hair is quite long now...just a beautiful colour and waves, John and I haven't pushed him too much to get it cut, but I think that we've hit a point where he's got to do something. He continues to enjoy his sports. Just wrapped up a fabulous basketball season and is awaiting the start of baseball. Brendan has started gymnastics and has been asked to join the pre-team boys group. He's doing really well. I sometimes can't believe that he's only taken about 3 months of instruction. In any event, he loves it...it's the one place people won't tell him to stay still! He receives his communion this May, we're all excited about that too. John also loves his job, he was promoted to the Executive Director of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for Connecticut. He's been travelling a little bit recently, to Nashville, New Orleans and next month to Washington, D.C. learning his new role. I am still with IKEA in the retail expansion group, designing the home decoration dept. We just opened a store in Ohio and continue to work on our Brooklyn store, soon to open, as well as remodels for the existing stores. Our pups, Sedona and Lea are doing well and getting big. They will be 8 months old this week, we hope to get an invisible fence put in soon so they can run the yard and get out some of that extra energy that they have. We are all doing well here in Connecticut. I know that the boys still miss Arizona very much, but am hoping as each month passes and they become more apart of the activities here and feel more confortable. Thanks for checking in and have a great Easter. God Bless our Troops! Love, The Clarks
