Welcome to Reagen's world. Vicki, Rob and Reagen would like to thank you for your interest in our most current challenge. Without your support (prayers, visits, calls, gifts, thoughts) and love we could not get through this difficult time. Your caring is truly appreciated by all of us. Thank you,
Love Rob, Vicki and Reagen.

And Lilly...

May 28th - 1 year off treatment

No bad news! Just wanted to get that out first!

It's been a while since I have updated this site and for those of you who have followed Reagen's journey and fight I apologize that I have not been able to share some of the great moments of her recovery this past year. It's hard to think this about sometimes let alone write about it.

Next Tuesday we go back to clinic to complete one year off active treatment. Reagen has gone every month to check bloodwork and have a physical exam. This time will be the same with echo cardiogram and an EKG to make sure that the chemo has not had a negative impact on her heart. After this she will go back every other month for one year and then once every 3 months the following year.

We (Vicki and I) don't really mind the monthly visits. It can be a pain for schedules and at times a sad reminder of our journey and that of other kids going through the same thing, but it also gives us the opportunity to see people who have become like family. Most of these people have seen Reagen grow up and have know her since she was three. (She has spent the last seven years in and out of there, wow) These visits also provide evidence that she is still cancer free, seems silly but it's a little something.

So one year off.... Some of the highlights

Reagen loves to ski now. Went to Jackson Hole and she was doing double blues by the end of the week which equate to black diamonds on the East Coast.

Recently ran a 5k with girls on the run program and I was her running buddy and we finished in 31:38. She out sprinted me in the end and beat me by a couple steps. I've never been so happy to lose.

Reagen is doing well in school. Keeping grades up and overall enjoying her friends. She just did a small play and had to memorize a minute long speech and did great.

We went to Turks and Caicos for a week and had a blast. Reagen really took to snorkel diving, and the frozen kid drinks.

She is getting so tall. By the end of the summer she will be 5 ft.

Looking forward to weekends in Avalon and ESF camp during the week.

She really wants to go to Paris too. :)

Thanks for keeping up with her!
