But that was short lived as the temps dropped crazy yesterday. 11 degress in 6 minutes at one time and now we have snow falling. Can you believe. There is a family on ACOR just finished treatment not too long ago, but now has some tumor on lungs. I pointed them to your site, the little guy's name is Josh and I will try to find his website to get to you, I know Kayleigh's story will give them LOTS of hope. When is you spring break? Do you get one after all the snow days??? Four years off treatment?!!! YESSS, Grace goes for her 4 year check up in April, hoping she changes to long term survivorship after. Miss Rhonda was sick the entire time and my mother in law was having an allergic reaction to something that was making it very unpleasant too. No color left in the trees so just acres and acres of bare trees. But that is okay. We made the best of it.

GOOD MORNING!!! Well here we are on the tail end of this Sept with Oct lurking around the corner. From the looks of you guys in the pictures, temp must be already cooling down up there. Still hot and muggy here with tons of rain Sat. I think we got close to 3 inches more. Yesterday was great with crystal blue skies and just a tad cooler (mid 80's). But they say it will begin to feel like fall here tomorrow. I think I am ready, especially if it means less rain.

HEY!!! So very glad to hear from you. Love the pictures. Looks so pretty. FYI I am a lighthouse person so was particularly intersted in the one with the lighthouse in the background. Sorry you did not see any whales. I have never seen one in the wild before but bet it is a cool experience. We were hoping to see some when we went to Hawaii but they were already heading back North. Shucks.

Hey, I keep forgetting to ask. In the picture of you with the fishing hook, before Mom resized them it looked like you had hooked someone. Did you? You exression would tend to lead me to believe you did. A couple of Saturdays ago I spent about 1.5 hours getting a hook out of man's arm. His 8 yr old son had hooked him in the back of the arm with a treble (three hook) hook. It was a bear to get out as you could not see the point and the shank of the hook was cut off so that all but about a quarter inch was sticking out. He had no insurance, no money and so he did not want to go to Dr or ER.

Hope if you did snag someone it was not bad and thing came out fine.

I also wanted to ask where the beach is? So very pretty. I love the color of the water. Down here water is light green. Nice to see some deep blue seas.

My kids are having a blast so far. From the looks of Hunter's schedule it does not appear we will be seeing him that much this summer. He leaves Friday with his older sister heading to Orlando for a week. Then off to to karate camp and so on all summer.

PRAYING about the scans, believing in a good report. We got ahead of you. Grace's onco is expecting (twins 1 of each) and so they moved her up a month. So now she is being tested at the end of chemo anniversary. She had her 3 year NED on the 24th of April. Doesn't need to go for another year. YAY. Kay just gets prettier and prettier and obviously has talent. So happy to read the update and see that you are BUSY.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Wow what a beautiful weekend. Hard to believe that the previous weekend it was cold and snowing. Temps were in the middle to upper 70's with lots of sunshine. Michaela my seven year old has some pink cheeks to show for her time outside having tons of fun.

GOOD MORNING CUTIE PIE PIE!!! Well a nasty old tooth ache kept me down and out yesterday as I was on pain meds for it until the antibiotics were able to kick in and begin eliminating the infection. Never had anything that hurt as bad as it did Tuesday afternoon. WOW!

Praying you are feeling great and enjoying these last few days of February. I for one am looking forward to March, which means spring time is just around the corner. Like I have told you before, I am a warm weather person and really do not like winter and cold temps etc.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Well we are back on the roller coaster with crazy weather. High was 75 yesterday, bad storms with high winds and softball size hail. GOOD MORNING CUTIE!! Well I have told you we have some crazy weather and it is about to get even crazier. There is discussion of white stuff for us here early next week. Yep in the 70's earlier this week and snow next week. May only get a cold rain as the fronts from the Gulf of Mexico really play into this. Praying that is all we get as we are not prepared and equiped for snow. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Well as this week and month draws to an end I can say I am looking forward to February and praying it will be quiter and calmer than January. Praying your month has been a good one and that Feb will be even better. Praying you are well; lots of bugs floating around. I have a dry hacking cough that is driving me crazy along with everyone around me. Praying too you are warm and having no issues from the storm that just went through there.

When I had mine about 10 yrs ago, yeah that is right this old man was in braces in his 40's, I never ventured out and got colored elastics. Just did not think working for a Bank and having colored braces went together. :-) Hope your teeth, jaw and cheeks have gotten accustom and are not sore any longer. GOOD MORNING CUTIE!!! I am so proud of you and your friends for sleeping the night in boxes to raise money for the homeless. What a wonderful event. I have slent a lot of cold nights in tents but with good heavy duty sleeping bags, the proper clothes etc. Not sure this old cold blooded man could do what you did. Again, I am very proud of you. Despite the cold, from the pictures it does look like you were having fun!

CLEAR SCANS!!! CLEAR SCANS!!! CLEAR SCANS!!! I just love those two words and know you are relieve that is over with and everything was clear. I cannot imagine the anxiety you must have everytime you go in for these!! Prayers were offered and heard loud and clear. Continuing to pray that your are completely healed, will live to be 100 and never hear that nasty word again.

Still enjoying the autumn hiking pictures. Looks like some places the scouts hike but we have never been to Pa. Beautitful scenary and gorgeous young lady. Looking forward to seeing pictures from the turkey bowl too. Sounds like so much fun. My teachers were all old and crabby and would have never dreamt of doing anything like this. He He :-)

Hunter and I are off to huge scout event this weekend. Largest gathering of scouts outside the National Jamboree. Thought you might like to read this article about it and watch the video. WOW -10, 000 scouts all at one time. I may be totally exhausted and crazy by the time we leave Sun morning to come home.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Well this old man found out how bad of shape he was in last night when attempting to swim and tread water for a scuba class. Man oh man do I need to loose some weight and get in shape. Hunter and I began classes last night and sounds like it will be a lot of fun but I was the last one to complete the qualifying swim, the oldest one there too..... he he he.. Bet you would love to scuba dive as you appear to be a water bug like my family.

Weather hear was pretty cloudy and windy from Hurricane Gustav. Yep it was so windy that Hunter thought he was wakeboarding in the ocean as the wind had the lake pretty rough. We all had fun though.

Kayleigh praying for the good post today, that is one thing I love so much that CHOP always lets us know right away. I don't do wait. I pray that every thing is going great their for you. It has been gloomy out today. Please pray for LaKota's Grandma, my mom, she was diagnosed with a tumor on her lung,and the doctor said it looks like cancer. I did set up a web page for her on the caring bridge, it is.....shirleysizer

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Hope you had a wonderful day yesterday and are feeling great. Praying you will have a Fantistic Friday and Wonderful Weekend. We are off on another scout campout this weekend. Not nearly as cold as last month so maybe I will not be a popsicle this weekend. LOL Gonna be hiking on the Chichamuaga Battlefield in No Ga. Think we will be doing between 10 - 14 miles depending on the trail we take. Oh my aching legs and feet. :-)

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Wow almost half way through Feb. Can you believe how quickly time is flying by!! Praying you are enjoying yourself to the fullest, having a great time at school and with all your extra activities. Praying too that you are well and no having any problems with colds or the flu. Losts of nasty bugs floating around here. My 14 yo son was really sick with the crud last week and flu is pretty bad here too!

Exciting weekend around here! Our first grandchild was born Sat. Adeline Shay was born Sat weighing in at 7 lb and 12 oz and 19 inch long. She is a cutie too. So pretty!! Takes after me - LOL ;-).

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!!! Well we did it. Hit hug number 60,000. Did you feel me squeezing you tight this morning. Hope you did and could feel the love in each everyone of them. I sure have enjoyed giving them to you. Seems like yesterday that I told you Mom about the hug counter and we started with hug number 1. You have been through a lot since then but have fought long and hard and won the battle. You are so strong and courageous and what an inspiration!

Praying all is well and still believing that no new is good news. Know you are one busy young lady there is not a minute to spare. I am so thankful you are able to be so involved in so many different activities. You are so talented.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG AND HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!! Well we will not be having a baby today after all. Test showed the lungs were not developed enough so will have to wait a little longer for our first grand child! My daughter was very disappointed.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUG!!! Not sure if I have told you that my oldest daughter is expecting. Looks like tomorrow will be the day they will induce labor and I become a grand dad for the first time. I have mixed emotions as I think I am too young to be a grand dad (not really I just like to say that) LOL!! We don't know if it will be a boy or girl but I am thinking girl! So if I do not get on here tomorrow and leave you some hugs and a message it is because I am at the hospital.

GOOD MORNING CUTIE!!! Love the new pictures. You look SO good!! I love lighthouses. I have pictures and little figurines of lighthouses in our our and in my office. The one you are visiting looks like it is in great shape and is very pretty. I want so bad to travel the east coast visiting all the lighthouses but so far have not been able to do that. I have seen a few in person but probably less than five total.

GOOD MORNING KAYBUGGER!! Happy Tuesday. Can you believe the month of Jan is half way over. WOW. Well since you love camping I thought I would share what my 14 yr old son and I will be doing with the Boy Scouts. We care heading to a state park in NE Al to camp all weekend like we do once a month. But the goal is to earn the Polar Bear badge. Guess you can guess what that means - yep it will be COLD. Right now we are looking at lows in the tens with wind chills of 5 degrees. BRRR. Call us crazy. Hey of you hear of old man turning into a human popsicle - that would be me!!! I get cold easily, especially hands and feet. Know I will be miserable but will be fun too.

GOOD MORNING BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for telling about Felicia. She is so cute and has such a long road ahead. I have been checking on her daily since you mentioned her. You are so wonderful visiting the hospital and bring joy and hope to the children there during the holidays. I know they were truly blessed. You are so special.

Praying you will have a great day and are feeling great with no nasty old colds or allergies. With our weather bouncing around my allergies are all messed up. Was 14 last Thursday morning and today it was 61. High last Thursday was 28 and told we will be in the middle 70's. Crazy weather. But we are getting some rain which is a good thing as we are still in a drought here.
