Alyssa was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma, Stage IIB, in November 2004 at the age of 13 months. Alyssa's tumor was found in her pelvic area and was removed by surgery. She is now on close follow up care.

It's been a little while since I updated. It's been busy around here. Just to update, all Alyssa's scans came back good! We are all set for six months. Our next scans will not be until October.

Summer is right around the corner. Alyssa is excited about the pool opening. She has been asking almost everyday to go to the pool. It's opening this weekend, but it has not been too warm of a spring, so the water is abt to be a little chilly. We'll see. She is just a fish!

Matt will be finishing up school late this June due to the teacher's strike in October. He has been having some difficulty in school and have had to meet with the teachers a couple of times recently. Hopefully we can just get him through this school year and start fresh next year. It's been frustrating.

No big summer plans. Just maybe a few camping trips....depending on the cost of gas. We have one planned Father's Day weekend in Lancaster, PA. I know the kids love camping. It should be fun. We are going with a couple of families. Alyssa is just so active, we have to watch her a like a hawk.
