U.S.A. - Tuesday, February 26, 2008 5:51 PM CST I just watched the video and can't believe it has been 3 years! Thank you for sharing Allison's life with us. Your family is so special to us and we value your friendship. Know that we continue to pray for all of you and we miss you!! Lisa <mohlerfam@verizon.net> Coatesville, Pa 19320 - Tuesday, February 26, 2008 10:37 AM CST Hi you guys, I saw the photos of Allison on facebook today and couldn't believe how "fresh" my emotions still are when I think about her, and all that you went through. It's so hard to believe she would have turned 3 yesterday. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking about you all and can't wait to see you, hopefully sometime soon. Erin Kaether <kaethers@verizon.net> Oregon, WI USA - Monday, February 25, 2008 12:53 AM CST Hello Eric, Katie, Josiah, and Alaina: Mom and I have been visiting this site and reliving all that happened three years ago. I was completely taken aback by the soundtrack for "With Hope". I haven't even heard - much less sung - that song since Allie's funeral. Singing along with it, of course, brought the same flood of emotions now as it did then. It is still as hard as ever to comprehend all that God is preparing for us, but we do know that after we said good-bye "with hope", we are now that much closer to seeing her again. Love you, guys... Dad Grandpa Al <lavoight@frontiernet.net> Apple Valley, MN - Sunday, February 24, 2008 7:37 PM CST My mind is full of memories of that snowy February day when Allison was born. How could it be 3 years ago already?! I was so blessed to be there and to bring Josiah to the hospital to see his new baby sister. I remember getting to see her before she was transfered to the Children's Hospital. My first thoughts were how beautiful she was, especially her little sweet mouth. We did not know until later what all of Allison's life struggles would be, but the love and joy that came into the world with her was abundantly evident in her precious face. We are so blesssed by her life and by the way you loved her and cared for her. What a beautiful example of our Heavenly Father's sacrifical love for us, his children. Someday we will have the answers to all our questions. For now, we have our memories of the joy that was born into the world with sweet Allison. May God fill your hearts and minds with His peace on her birthday. I feel a connection to you and Allision, our infants were in the hospital at the same time. I watched the video, and as I enjoyed seeing her newborn, I caught myself fearing the end of the video, seeing the ball move to the end, I knew what was going to happen, and it did happen and I am crying so hard. Yet I know that she is with the very one who created her. As perfect as she is, so are His ways. So perfect. jess voight <jandjvoight@usfamily.net> burnsville, MN USA - Friday, June 29, 2007 11:08 PM CDT I know its june, but I wanted to see if you still update this site and I am so glad you do.
