Welcome to Mari's web page. We hope this will be a way for our friends and family near and far to join us on this "journey." Please be sure to leave Mari a message. Mari was diagnosed with ALL on Jan, 3 2001. She turned 11 years old on Jan, 4th.

Journal

Monday, July 9th, 2007

Hello everyone, especially those of you who have "reminded" me that I need to update you all.
Things here have been good (and bad).
Our house was finally finished in May. We were really excited to move in. BUT....our 12 year old cat died suddenly. She had pnuemonia and by the time I got her to the vet it was too late. She died on the exam table, her heart couldnt' take the stress I guess. We still miss her and are going to make a memorial in our yard. I had promised the girls when our house was done we would get a puppy and another cat. So we now have a pomeranian puppy and a himalayan cat. I'm a busy mom.

The girls had their dance recital in May also and are now preparing for another one in December. They are more like productions than a recital. School is almost out (end of July here, and only for 3 weeks). I'm still teaching English to toddlers( I love it!) and am still V.P. of the Children's Cancer Family Support Group.
There is still so much work to be done here.

Mari will be "CURED" in July of next year and I'm wondering how long I should keep this site? How long should remain a part of ALL-kids?

Anyway, there isn't much more to tell right now. We have a "normal" life right now....as normal as it can be here.

Thank you to everyone who still checks on Mari and the rest of us.
