You nailed it about living with a Chronically ill child. I have been really struggling with it since this last hospital stay two weeks ago. I would like a break from it all and maybe come back to it when it was convient,which it never is. In reality, it will never stop and I just need to adjust some straps, move things around and just move on.
we don't have the snow, but I am sure if we had rain, we would have snow. It is freezing here! So cold for California. Coldest I know since living here 20yrs.

I really pray that you make it to your one year party- I know you will!! What is the date? I think that you should ask your mommy to look into getting IPV (Intrapulmonary Percussive Ventilation) treatments for you so that you can always stay at home when you have respiratory infections/ pneumonias. That's what my mom did! (Plus, she is always very firm with the doctors and tells them that she would rather that I stay home!) Anyway, I hope you get over your sickness, soon!

Hi, well Soccor is on at 6AM in our home also, and the other games are also taped to be watched later by our Jacob, who dearly loves sports. Enjoy there is alot left.
I was sorry to hear about another Jacob who lost his fight with this terrible thing called cancer. I am sure his family is having a difficult time right now adjusting.
But I do agree with you Shannon there is a reason for every life no matter how long nor what the circumstance is, we just sometimes have to believe, because the exact reason is not always obvious. I actually feel all things in life have a reason.
One can falter and lose site of ones self or pray and believe that in the end the reason and purpose for everything will show itself.
Javad I believe has touched many lives, even outside your own immediate family, I know he has mine. Even though I never get to see him only a few times, just knowing he is there and hearing of his day to day trials, and the obstacles he overcomes amaze me. It has made you and your immediate family grow in so many ways, all good. Even though it has been hard emotionally, and in all areas and tested you at times I am sure. I found you through Kendrie's website. I can't believe it because I too live in Happy Valley, Oregon!!! I assume you must go to Doernbecher because through reading your journal you know Oliver. My son Robert is 15 years old and was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia in January 2003, and had a Bone Marrow Transplant in September 2004. I can't believe we are in the same community and don't know one another. I too was hoping to be number 700,000 on Kendrie, but no luck. I can't imagine that many people visiting out site. She's an awesome writer and an amazing woman. I hope all is well with your family and maybe someday we will meet. I will check out your site more throughly, but I wanted to write immediately since we must be "Neighbors". God bless you and your family and rest in His arms.

Thanks for the shout out for my brother Daniel. We were surprised and my mom is so tired from learning more. Thought she had a rough time caring just for me, but now my brother. I hear her say all the time, she could be able to do this withour the prayers, support and love from families like yours and so many others as well as God.
I don't like prednisonen myself...makes me so moody! I just started back to OT and I am getting stronger every day since I have been able to gain weight and keep in on. Too bad we can't do therapies together! Oregon is a bit too far from here. Oh well. Think if me and I will think of you!

Hey Javad My Buddy!
I have been doing the same thing to my parents! I fell asleep about 4pm yesterday and was up at 8pm until 7am this morning! My poor mom had the wonderful duty of staying up until 3an when she couldn't take anymore. She woke up my dad to take care of me...we partied in between my throwing up. I am still doing that....I am getting a nurse though. My mom needs her beauty sleep or so she says.

My new little brother was born 2 weeks ago. He will be home sometime next week. I can't wait for him to be home. I've had a little trouble with my right lung again. Nothing to worry about though. Hey there! So glad you are home and feeling a bit better. I have to agree with you about the "glue", because when Jacob went to the ER and was transferred 3.5 hours away, he went almost 12 hours with no treatment and no humidity. When we arrived, his x-ray was so bad - the worse I have ever seen. After a few days of vigilent treatments and increased humidity, he was clear.

Hi Javad, well sounds like you are all pretty busy , that is good, especially since you seem to be doing so good. Tell mommy to explain to me what pseudomonas is? I get it that you don't need it or want it, so don't get it OK !!
When we come to visit Simon and Jacob will have to play some chess as Jacob loves to play also, he has taken chess after school for the last 3 years. Jacob played a basketball game at the Staples center last week , and then we saw the Clippers and the Dallas Mavericks play a game, it was fun. Baseball has started for all of us (Jacob, Josh,Christian, Jon & Seth) I (Grandma) has 70 games to go to in all fo all boys combined, guess you know where I will be huh! I am glad the weather has been sunny there so you can go outside that is always nice. I was sorry to hear Dakota is sick, hope she gets better. Glad your papa had a safe trip and grandma is feeling better. Tell Stesha to enjoy Lacrosse and take care of her ankle. Hope Adams play went well, I think you should have been able to go also, but you know grown-ups and their rules. Tell mommy good luck in school. Well, will talk to you later OK. Javad, were glad your doing good. WOW 26lbs. Mom is going to get tired caring you around, good thing your learning to drive, huh? It sounds like your enjoying it alot,good for you. We hope your friend Jacob and his family are OK down there in Florida. We are all OK here in CA., Jacob & Josh are back in school and enjoying it , Josh is playing soccor, he and Christian are on the same team and his Uncle Rob is the assistant coach. Christian and Josh have been playing the goalie and love it, pretty good at it also for 7 years old. Jacob is going to play basketball, it starts in October. Lisa is working now substitute teaching and she is working alot, so that is good. She really likes it, which is good since she has to work. I am good also, keeping busy with kids and house as usual.
