It has been provided to keep people updated while Glenda is undergoing a matched unrelated bone marrow transplant for Chronic Myelogeneous Leukemia at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Transplant is scheduled for mid to late July, 2002. This page is also to serve as a source of encouragement for others having to undergo this challenge. May we all learn and grow together.

Hello everyone,
Well, the journey is over and she has won the race. She went to meet Jesus about 3:00 AM this morning. She is rejoicing in heaven now. No more pain or heartache and no more worries. We will miss her greatly but have no doubt she is at home.
Thanks everyone for your thoghts and prayers. Thanks all of you for signing the guestbook. Thanks all the staff from MD Anderson and there wonderful care. It almost feels like I'm leaving home because it feels like home here.
Please pray for us in the coming days as we continue without her and we will all see her again one day when we get there and can celebrate with her.
