NOAH ALLEN FORBES

     Noah Allen Forbes
  May 31,2003-May 12,2006
Hi!  This website was created for Noah Allen Forbes.  Noah was diagnosed with Stage IV Neuroblastoma in October of 2004.  He was sixteen months old.  He has undergone seven rounds of chemotherapy two stem cell transplants, fifteen radiation treatments and five rounds of Accutane at OU Children's Medical Center in Oklahoma City.  After enjoying seven blissful months of NED, on Feb. 6, 2006 we found out Noah had relapsed.  A tumor had grown on the left side of his brain (temple region)  He had the tumor removed and completed three rounds of oral Etoposide (VP-16) at home. Sadly, on Friday, April 28 we found out again that Noah had yet again relapsed.  On Monday, May 1 we found out it was much worse than imagined.  The cancer came back in the same spot, only the tumor was much larger than before and growing inward instead of out.  We made the heart wrenching decision to stop treatment and bring Noah home under Hospice care to keep him comfortable.  Noah gained his angel wings @ 6:47 a.m. on Friday, May 12,2006

Hi All,Hope you are doing well!  I really don't update much anymore however there's not a day go by that I do not say a prayer to every warrior and their family who battle cancer.  iT'S a tough ride and those who have to make it are stronger than most for sure.  Here's to you and yours and the miracles that can indeed occur on ANY day...As for the family and I, we are doing well.  Stormee will be 17 and a Junior in the fall.  ouch.  One can't help but feel a little old.  lolThank you for continuing to check in on us...Love to All,Shelly

My Dearest Noah,I miss you SO MUCH!  Even though your time on earth was limited, you brought great joy and love to all the lives you touched.   Happy Birthday to you son! You would've been six this year. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you but I bet your having a great time playing ball with Papa! Love you bunches, sugar bear!Love,Mommy
