Triston's Troop Welcome to Triston Matthew Hill's Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated about our Child. Triston was born August 6, 2001. On August 15, 2002, he was diagnosed with stage 2B Neuroblastoma. Triston's tumor biology was favorable and had no NMYC amplification. Although he has had minor setbacks, Triston has been in remission for 2 1/2 years. He still sees his Oncologist every 3 months. Triston is on a clinical trial that allowed us to choose not to receive chemotherapy. He has had some growth issues. In June 2003, Triston had a feeding tube put in. Since then he has gained a great deal of weight, 14 lbs. to be exact. He has done well given all he has been through. He is quite a trooper.
Tiston's family and I have started a non-profit organization to help out the families of childhood cancer patients. Thus the name Triston's Troop, One small soldier in the battle against cancer. An army of support from family and friends.

Thursday, July 10, 2003 Triston had a Hem/Onc clinic visit today. His exam went O.K. and his vitals were good. His labs also came back good. His HVA is 24 & VMA is 8. His CT scan went well. The results of it: NED (No Evidence of Disease). We are now being moved to six month appointments. Yeah!!!!
