Forgot when Olivia's birthday is but want to wish her a very happy one. Double didgets, Olivia. YOU are really growing up! You are at least doubly blessed, Olivia, but you are truly blessed much more than that. Stay clean! God loves you very much and is always with you. Many people love you too (even if from afar) and their prayers are always with you. Blessings and Love, Olivia. Susie

Sheryl,

Thank you so much for your support and advice in dealing with this nasty person. I'm so sorry to hear of the 2 students being killed and your principal dying so suddenly! That is all such sad news! I would be devastated as well. I'm so glad to hear that Olivia is doing good other than the asthma attack. I'm so glad that you came by my Jayden's site and wrote to me. It's nice to meet you although I wish it were under better circumstances! Hugs to you and Olivia and your family!

Happy Thanksgiving to you ALL too. God has used you, Sheryl, to make a difference in these young lives. Keep us informed about Livi's gall stone removal so we can pray specifically about that. Food, fellowship and family are just a few of our blessings this Thanksgiving and always. PTL in all things - God is good! Hugs, kisses and love, Susie Rabold

hey there olivia. my name is emily and im a 9th grader at fairview high school. just last week my teacher began to teach us about all kinds of cancer. school lets out in less than 2 weeks, and all i could think about was summer time, not paying any attention to what he was saying, until he gave me this assignment. he gave us a list of childrens names, and they all have cancer. olivia is my favorite name so i decided to do this assignment on you. what our task is: we have to look up information about our person, (where they are from, what kind of cancer they have, are they a survivor?, how old are they etc..) and put our information on a puzzle piece, decorate the puzzle piece put a picture of you on it, and hang it up in the hallway for everyone in my school to read about your story. i totally changed from thinking about summer, to cancer when i started to read your page, this is no longer just an assignment, this time, this one means more to me. thanks so much for making a page, and leting people know your story and your struggle. i think you are an amazingly strong girl.

love always,
emily.

Sheryl, What you said is right on - there is no good or easy kind of cancer. And, any cancer that effects kids is the worse kind of all. When a child has cancer, basically the whole family has it too. Give Olivia a big hug for me. When does she get scans next? LOVE you ALL! Susie

We too have heavy hearts during this celebratory time of year. Because God tells us to give thanks IN all things (we usually don't understand that exactly when problems arise), you can still come up with many blessings that can lift our hearts. Thanks for good memories of loved ones gone on before us - praise the Lord for their significance in/to our lives. Enjoy your break time and trip wherever you decide to go Johnstons. Do good in your programs Livi and Ireland. I pray for you girls and your family often and love hearing about you and how you're doing. May God continue to bless you with restored health - you are loved.

My goodness,a death of a child in the family is just tragic. My son Chris lost his best friend Ryan five years ago and it was so difficult. I can't imagine how hard it is to have Michael gone. My prayers are with the family, those of you left behind but some day we will all meet again in heaven. Until that time, know that he is ok and watching over all of you. There just are not words to express those kind of feelings.

We only get a glimpse of that pain. But I promise to never forget that each day more parents add their names to the list of the suffering. Our children deserve better, better cures, better lives, better schools, better communities. Will pray pray pray, knowing there is really nothing more we can do. Hope that the girls are able to enjoy some spring weather and have a few adventures to help the healing process begin.

Hi gals, hope the basement is back to dry now. UGH We live near the ocean, have never had tidal flood this area, but from time to time can't get to work either cause of tide or too much rain so fast. Too much rain during a regular high tide keeps storm drains from dumping into back bay and so water up over the parking lots, curbs, under doors, cars flooded, yep too much water not a good thing. Thank God all are well and praying for some SUN.

HI. I am Adam's mom. I have recieved your messages on our caringbridge site. Thank you so much for your prayers. I would love to know more about how you guys got through this fight! Thank God that you have a success story. As you know, this is only 3 weeks into our diagnosis. We are shocked and terrified. We were also told that Wilm's was the cancer to have if you had to have one.---I think whoever said that has obviously not had a child diagnosed with cancer!! Anyway, we were told that they were sure his was favorable histology and then came back stage 4 unfavorable. Please re-assure me. Olivia's success story has been such a comfort for me. The only one's I know about are favorable success stories. If you have a chance, please help me to know how to find out about more children with this diagnosis so I can first pray for them and their families and be a part of this "unfortunate" ,yet, wonderful support group. Thank you. God bless you and your family. The news of Olivia's scan is wonderful.
