Time flies when you're having fun...or something like that!

Kaleb has been experiencing more 'bone' pain in the hips so we went to an orthopedist in Newark. He was very honest in stating that this case was much more involved and recommended that we return to South Carolina or St. Louis to see a specialist. There were no visible breaks but there is obvious damage to the hips. His pelvic tilt is tremendous which scares me to death.

On another note, I'll be seeing Kaleb's neuro-ophthmalogist on July 1st to check my optic canals. The nerves appear swollen and I've been having headaches so we'll see what they find. AND, Mark will be going to a heart specialist next Wednesday to examine why his heart is racing and feels like it's going to pop out of his chest. As you can tell...we still need any extra prayers.

On a positive note, all 3 of us have been very involved in a new venture. We opened up in the Just in Time Antique Mall in the Newark Arcade. We're selling antiques and collectibles and it's been a nice venture for all of us. As with everyone, the bills just keep mounting and at times, they feel unsurmountable so we're trying everything we know to keep afloat. You can visit a 'website in progress' for the venture at kalebskorners.com. We came up with this name to indicate that Kaleb encounters many "korners" everyday and we're here to help round those corners out with him.

Kaleb is undecided as to whether he'll continue homeschooling or return to the new handicap accessible middle school. He definitely misses his friends and I will support his decision. I'm worried to death due to the days he will miss if he tries to return to the normal school. Since we've done the homeschooling, one neat thing is that we haven't had a 'bad' day. This does not mean he hasn't hurt but when he was in traditional school, if the hips wouldn't move, we had many 'bad' days which prevented him from going to school. With the homeschooling, he has been able to complete his assignments even on days the hips won't move.

Blessings to each of you.
