2 YEARS POST STEM CELL TRANSPLANT

Our Family traveled to Chicago last weekend for Eric's 2 year follow-up. The kids were on spring break so we all went together. Eric did well with the scopes and tests! He has become quite the pro. We are happy to announce that Eric is in complete REMISSION! The endoscope and colonoscopy showed NO INFLAMMATION! Eric still has areas that are narrowed from scar tissue but he has not had any symptoms at all. The doctors are thrilled as we are. This is the first time Eric has had a good report in 10 years! Eric is now 5'7" and weighs 102 lbs. He is still quite thin but he is in a growth spurt so we aren't too concerned. Eric eats whatever he wants and he is starting to eat things that he would never even try before.

Eric is working part time at the Mall and is anxiously waiting for Prom and graduation. He will be working for a year before he enrolls in college. He is young and needs some experience of the real world.
