Sunday, March 18, 2007 3:23 PM CDT We are very sorry for not updating the webpage of our son Vincent.the real reasons are ,vincent is now on its 4th year of remission from its 2nd bone marrow transplant in 2003. Me and wife Gloria are too pre-occupied working for 2 jobs at same time . It is very hard to survive in New York especially ,the bills that started to come in after we decided to stay for the good of the whole family. The eldest Jr is now 14 years old and graduating in 8th grade, while Janus the donor for vincent is now 12 years old and in 6th grade.Vincent the youngest of the brood is now 9 years old and in 2nd grade at PS 183.
we still go to the hospital at MSKCC for his routine check-up and phlebotomy for the iron in the liver. All the good numbers are within his bloodwork and hopefully it will be forever.
The only burden we have right now are the mounting bills that keep us knocking every month .The seven years of our stay in New York and starting all over again from our life is a new challenge for us. I hope someday we will hit the lotto in New York (dreaming of impossible) and write off the hospital bills and credit card.
The bottom line of this dilemna is, we have still Vincent in our life together with his 2 big brothers. We will keep on moving and struggle for our survival. Please keep us in your prayers.....
