Missa and Denise,

It sound like Missa will do just fine in the 4th grade. It is exciting to them to move up. Brennan's morning graduation went well. We have to go back for the evening one. I told him he's not officially a 7th grader without adiaploma in hand LOL. He had boought his two lady friends at school flowers today as well as his teacher. That is how Brennan is. I'm so glad that he's almost over that sad miserable phase he was in. I know that he'll have his days but it's nice to see him act like he used to. It also sound like your going to have a good time with your aunt. It's nice to be able to leave the kids with dad kowing he's going to enjoy them. My husbands the same way. My mother 8yrs ago had a lung transplant. Last yr she was in a coma for 1 1/2 mths and I drove to Cleveland, Ohio every wkend. Not having to leave my children with a sitter was nice. It's not a stressful when you know their home. Well you have a good time and hope to talk to you when you get back. Say a pray for Konnor Jackson please. He is also on caring bridge website. His mother is a friend a mine and Konnor they say has about a month or so. Thanks

Way to go, Missa, on being on your new weekly med!!! That must make everything a lot easier, huh? I'm SO proud of you! You're an amazing young lady and a VERY pretty one too -- tell your Dad that he's going to have his hands full when it comes time for you to start dating.

And I'm SO happy to hear that you and Zach are enjoying school so much. Drama club sounds like lots of fun. I can't wait to hear about the plays you'll be starring in and how well you do. I could never do anything like drama when I was in school -- I always had a HUGE case of stage fright and couldn't stand speaking in front of a lot of people -- come to think of it, I'm still that way today. So my hat is definitely off to you two!

Congratulations on your new job, Denise. I hope you're enjoying it. Jim's Mom sits kiddies all day long too and she absolutely loves it. She wouldn't have it any other way. Since her surgery she hasn't been able to watch any of her kiddies and it's REALLY starting to get to her. She can't wait to be completely healed and able to do her job again.

Glad to hear you're healing nicely after your surgery, Darren. Keep it up! Were you able to talk after it was done? No offense, but I just have this picture of you in my mind writing notes to Denise because you were unable to talk. But that's just me and my vivid imagination working its wonders :o)

Tori, you have FIVE book reports to work on? All at once?? My goodness! You're one busy lady. You're a smart girl and I know you'll do wonderfully in school. And that's so exciting that you have your own CaringBridge page set up now. I'll be sure to stop by and take a look VERY soon.

Hi Tori, Missa & Zach!

All of you must be back to school by now, right? Sammi still has a couple of weeks to go before she starts Kindergarten. Believe me, I'm as anxious for her to start as she is. Everyday all I hear is, "I want to go to Kindergarten. I want to go to Kindergarten" over and over again. It's great seeing how excited she is about going. Now lets just hope this positive attitude of hers sticks around.

Yup...ok...I feel old now. Look at how big you three (Missa, Zach, Tori) have gotten! I can't believe it! When was the last time I visited this page? I had to look twice at those pictures -- I just can't get over how much older all of you look!

Our holiday cook-out and fireworks show are over now, so we're just spending a relaxing 4th of July at home on our butts. It's suppose to storm pretty soon anyway, so I think we'll continue to sit on our butts -- Sammi will probably want to sit on the porch if we get a thunder storm. She can't stand some loud noises, but she loves thunder and fireworks -- go figure!
