Welcome to our site about our baby girl, Michele Lynn, born 02/18/2003.
Michele was born with a rare heart condition, where her heart is flipped causing a right aortic arch, which also caused a vascualr ring.
At 9 months, after a month of treating what we thought was asthma, Michele got pneumoina. When she had her X Rays taken, they saw an anomaly on the X Ray. It was found that she had this condition, and that the vascular ring was wrapping around her esophagus, as well as having extra blood vessels indenting her trachea.
At 14 months she finally had her surgery which healed her for the most part. She will still have to get checked once in a while.
When she was a baby, she gagged when eating, and always sounded like she was struggling to breath, yet the doctors thought she was fine.
Thank God we pursued this, or we would not have our precious baby girl with us now.

Sunday, February 8, 2009 10:02 AM CST I am loving school, and ask mom and dad on every non -school day, if there is school tomorrow! My teacher is awesome.
I won an award for Character Education in Responsibility at school!
Mom took lots of pictures, but this is my favorite!
My little brother watched me and sat so nicely during the whole thing!
I am sure I will be hoping to go back to school all summer!
