Welcome to Justin's Web Page. Journal Tuesday, March 10, 2009 8:01 AM CDT Took Kaitlin to the Emergency Room Saturday morning with severe tonsilitis. She had to have an IV put right in and receive IV antibiotics and IV steroids to bring down the swelling. Her throat was almost closed shut because the tonsils were almsot touching and were huge. The admitted her and she continued to receive IV antibiotics and steroids for the swelling so she could have her surgery on monday. They did the surgery Monday morning at 7:45 am and we were able to bring her home late that afternoon. She isn't doing to well still. She is on pain medicine and more antiobtics. Hopefully she will be on the mend soon and be feeling better. Thaks to all who called and checked on her and her grandma and grandpa Cummings who came and stay with her so I could run home for a bit on Sunday. Grandma Cummings is coming again today to help us out and thanks also to her for getting her ice cream and drinks and bringing them down to her on Monday. I'll keep you updated. Our precious angel Justin was watching over her while she had her surgery and keeping her safe. Links: |
