Danielle's Journal

My Birthday! May 14, 2009.

Welcome to Danielle's Patient Web Page. It has been provided to keep people updated on her condition.

I have been diagnosed with the following diseases/disorders. Some of my medical conditions are still a mystery. It is believed that much of this may be due to a mitochondrial or autoimmune disorder.

Chronic Pain, Autonomic Dysfunction, Small Fibre Neuropathy, Raynaud's Disease, Anemia, Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (Hypo), Chronic Epstein-Barr Virus (CAEBV), Major Depressive Disorder (Unipolar Depression), Panic Disorder. I also have 2 L-Spine Herniated discs(w/ spinal encroachment), 1 bulging disc. Most recently I was diagnosed with Anterior and Inferior Glenohumeral Instability for which I had surgey on 1/19/09.

I was born with Congenital Esotropia

*Did you know that Clinical Depression is a real medical illness?*

He Lets the fierce winds blow
Sometimes it takes a storm it lead a heart where it can grow

But sometimes He lets it rain...

Journal

I hope you all had a fun and safe 4th of July! It's about midnight here and it has quieted down. I stayed home with Javert since he's afraid of firecrackers while my parents went to a barbeque at our neighbor's house. He slept in my bed for a while, cuddled against me.

I found out that my brother's first child will be a girl! I'll have a NIECE come November! I'm really excited! She doesn't read this, so I can tell you that I've already put together and "Mommy and Baby" gift basket with all Avon stuff for her shower gift. I think she'll like it.

My brother and sis-in-law are coming over tomorrow to celebrate his birthday (which was today) and have a little barbeque. I'm making s'mores =)

My physical therapist is being a pain and my insurance is waiting on him to report my progress to them before they can approve more visits. It's been weeks and I'm doing what I can at home, but it's still frustrating. My friend Valerie and I started taking a walk around our neighborhood and plan to do it every Wednesday evening this summer. I want to be as active as I possibly can. Sitting in my room gets old quick!

Thanks for your prayers. I've needed them lately. A lot of emotions to work through.

I am really hoping this summer will be a special one for all of us. I'll update you all again soon!

Always,
Danielle
