Thank you so much to everyone who was at the airport on Tuesday night to welcome us home. Believe me, you were all a sight for tired eyes! Thanks especially to my brother, Bob, who drove 150 miles to welcome us, and to our dear friends, the Henry's from Whitby Ontario. Having you there meant so very much to us.
After a very difficult day at the Atlanta airport, we made it home. Our plane was delayed, and apparently it disappeared from the arrivals board at the Buffalo airport, which made a whole lot of folks very nervous. But we were safe and sound, just a little behind.
We are attempting to settle in here in very hot and humid Rochester. We miss our friends in Bogota very much and we hope to be able to greet the Dobies and the Kallinikos families at the airport very soon. Even though we won't be able to be at the airport for the Minnesota families, we are thinking of you and praying for you, and we'll be following your websites!
As soon as we have a minute where we're not busy or sleeping, we will update this website with more pictures and maybe a journal of our exhausting day.
