This page is all about ME!! I am Ashlee Jean Kelly. I was born on 11/19/00 with a rare liver disease called Biliary Atresia. I am waiting for a liver transplant at Columbia Presbytarian Hospital in NYC. We do not yet know when I will get my gift of life, but we do know I will need it to survive in the future. To date my liver and spleen are big and my liver functions remain high, except my bili which is normal. I'm not yellow at all and to look at me you would never know I was sick. I have been diagnosed with portal hypertension, and esophageal and stomach varices. I have been sick on and off for the past couple months. I have one sister Alyssa who is 9.

Check out Haleys Foundation! Haley was an amazing little girl, we had the honor of meeting her and her wonderful family, she died without ever getting a new liver. Wow it has been a long time...Ashlee is doing very well. She is in third grade, gymnastics, and softball. She has had some problems with her terrible environmental allergies and asthma...but she is getting thru it!!! Thanks for visiting, I promise to keep this updated more often!
