To date: Anthony lost his two front teeth & looks like a pumpkin!

Hello and Happy Summer!!!
I have been way behind on Anthony's updates. I have recently ran into old friends and they told me they check Anthony's website and I need to update his page, so here I am!!

Anthony has just turned 6 and lost his first tooth! Actually ALL of his non molars are loose, vic and I got a bit nervous about that (considering he had a bone disease that does affect teeth!) we thought it was odd that ALL his teeth are loose at the same time, vic took him to the dentist and they did x-rays, Anthony's teeth are all there, and they are coming in straight, thank god. Oh and while he was getting x-rays, thats when he lost his tooth. Vic had everyone trying to find it, to no avail, Its possible tha the did swallow it, his top two teeth are really loose so , we'll make sure to get them when they come out, If his teeth continue to come out at this rate, he will look like a pumpkin for his school pictures!

He will be going to school district this year, repeating kindergarten, funny to think that he is repeating kindergarten, considering his has taught himself Russian and chinese in 2 months. however the socialization is what he will get in kindergarten, he wouldnt get that in first grade, so special ed kindergarten for academics and he will be mainstreamed into the typical kindergarten for everything else. Anthony will love going to music, I met the teacher, and she is a former classmate of mine from high school. I told her Anthony will be her soloist for chorus as he loves to sing! it might be a problem trying to get him out of music when the bell rings!
His braille reading and writing is coming along really well. Last week, while waiitng at the doctor's office, we were taking a walk in the hallway and i had Anthony read the braille outside all the rooms, he was able to read " nurses station" and all the different room numbers! a mother and her teenage son were so impressed with anthony they just had to tell him what a great reader he is is! of course Anthony responded by saying"who's that" let me her you whistle! thats how anthony greets you, he wants you to whistle, he just loves to hear it, he even taught himself how to whistle!, he has such a great ear for listening.

Swimming is one of anthonys favorite things to do, h is very comfortable in the pool with his swimmys on his arms, i taught him to play marco polo. he does great and its teaching him how to swim and he doesnt even realize it, he just follows my voice when I answer "polo" and he finds me, so he is treading water and kicking.

thats pretty much it, oh if you want to see Anthtony at his graduation, lead everyone in saying the Pledge of Allegience just go to www.youtube.com aand search AVDIZZZL. you can see the video of him skiing as well!
take care and enjoy your summer!!
