Stan Michael's Page

Stan Michael and his brother Scott

This picture was taken just weeks before Scott was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. Scott died just five and half months later.

Wow, it's been a long time since I've updated Stan Michael's webpage. All things considered, he's having a good year. He gave T-ball a try this past spring (he didn't like it!), with his Dad as one of his coaches. It brought back many memories of Scott's first experience with sports, which was T-ball, with his Dad as the Coach. We had a good summer vacation, with lots of camping trips and trips to the beach. It was 100 days of summer vacation this year and it went so quickly!

Stan Michael is now in Second Grade, which is the last grade that Scott attended. He asks sometimes about Scott and his teachers, but I'm not sure if he's as aware as Stan and I are that he will surpass his older brother this year. It's very strange and sad to think about it, but for now the comparisons are inevitable.

Stan Michael has asked to take violin lessons. He is excited about starting violin lessons next week, which makes me really happy. It's good to see him excited about something new and different in his life. It's a Suzuki Strings program through the school district with parental involvement, so I guess I'm going to be learning about the violin too! I'll be sure to let everyone know how it goes.

Our families' love to all of you,
Romelle, Stan, Stan Michael and our angel Scott
