Jordan was born June 21, 2002 with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome,an Intact Ventricular Septal Defect and Pulmonary Atresia.
These problems with his heart could thankfully be treated surgically through three open heart surgeries at A.I.DuPont hospital in Delaware.
We have been through a lot with Jordan
several infections,feeding issues,a reflux disorder
and the three surgeries themselves.The surgeries were mentally as hard on those who love him as they were on him physically.We started this page to keep everyone up to date while we were in the hospital, but now that his surgeries are done,forever we hope,we keep it updated as much as we can with all his medical progress as well as the fun things we do.

HYPOPLASTIC RIGHT HEART SYNDROME (HRHS)
Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome is a condition in which
the right side of the heart is underdeveloped including the right atrium, and often the pulmonary and/or tricuspid valves.
The right side of the heart is responsible for pumping blood to the lungs.
When the right side of the heart is underdeveloped, it is not able to get blood to the lungs or oxygen to the vital organs of the body.
Surgery is needed to sustain life..
