Welcome To Jordan's Page!!!
Jordan was born June 21, 2002 with Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome,an Intact Ventricular Septal Defect and Pulmonary Atresia. These problems with his heart could thankfully be treated surgically through three open heart surgeries at A.I.DuPont hospital in Delaware. We have been through a lot with Jordan several infections, feeding issues,a reflux disorder and the three surgeries themselves. The surgeries were mentally as hard on those who love him as they were on him physically. We started this page to keep everyone up to date while we were in the hospital, but now that his surgeries are done, forever we hope,we keep it updated as much as we can with all his medical progress as well as the fun things we do.
So,welcome to Jordan's page, thanks for checking in on us and please be sure to sign his Guest book.I print it out and put it in his memory box so he will know how much support we have gotten and how many wonderful people we have met.
HYPOPLASTIC RIGHT HEART SYNDROME (HRHS) Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome is a condition in which the right side of the heart is underdeveloped including the right atrium, and often the pulmonary and/or tricuspid valves. The right side of the heart is responsible for pumping blood to the lungs. When the right side of the heart is underdeveloped, it is not able to get blood to the lungs or oxygen to the vital organs of the body. Surgery is needed to sustain life..

What if Hypoplastic Right Hearts earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can! GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it’s powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results. Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter Hypoplastic Right Hearts as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word!

Wednesday, February 15, 2012 12:27 AM CST WOW!! Again almost 2 years has gone by since I have been here.. that is thankfully because Jordan is doing great medically. His latest Cardiologist appointment went really well, and we are good for another year ( fingers crossed and prayers said) Otherwise Jordan is doing really well, he is in 4th grade now (!!!) and while his Aspberger's makes somethings difficult for him ( mostly math and speaking up in class) overall he loves his charter school and is doing really well. He is loved by his teachers and has a few really close friends, so it is nice. Thankfully the school is a very small environment and they don't tolerate bullying etc so it is a nice place for him. On the family front we FINALLY moved back "home" to my parents property where I grew up, although we have built a new house on the lot. It was a lot of work and struggle but we are finally settling in and loving it. Now, if we could just sell our old house things would be great!! Not much else to report, our business is still going Strong ( second anniversary Feb 1st) and Jordan loves going there on Saturdays and days off from school. Thank you for visiting us, and hopefully next time I update things will still be going as well! Thanks for stopping by!
